Snapshot 15w20-07 | Health and Pwebles


This is the final update to the pre-alpha stage of the game. Expect the first alpha release tomorrow.

Changes

  • New Enemy: Pwebles
    • Rock creatures that specialize in "close combat".
    • Appear after 10 reactivation cycles occur.
    • Pwebles do 25 damage per attack, they also move at 2.5x the speed of a zombie.
    • 1 - 2 shots to kill, their health does not scale
  • New Item: Zombie Essence
    • Zombie essence will heal 5 hit-points on pickup.
    • There is currently no maximum health in the game, this may change


Bug Fixes

  • Pwebles have a smaller tendency to begin floating.
  • Zombies won't studder when you are near the edge of the map.
  • Pwebles now spawn at the correct size.
  • Altars now enable and disable sound based on whether or not they are active.
  • Fixed "lines" from appearing the ground when dashing.
  • Activation and deactivation sounds no longer studder when being activated/deactivated.
  • Activation and deactivation sounds aren't as loud.
